How can we love ourselves? or the question should be: why aren’t we loving ourselves already?
Simply because, along the way, somebody has successfully convinced us that for some reason we should not love ourselves, that everybody else is better than us, or that we are not worthy.
You can’t love yourself unless you get rid of these negative beliefs. But how can you do that?

The first thing that can help you in this matter is meditation, it is one of the best tools in the law of attraction philosophy. It helps you go deep inside yourself, it connects you with your soul.. you have all the answers inside you, start maditating everyday, it may not be easy at first but you will get better with practice.. Once you connect with your true self, it will be easy to change your negative beliefs about self love.

The second thing you can do is self talk, or Affirmations.
The negative beliefs you have about love were actually affirmations that were told to you multiple times until you ended up believing them. So in order to change them you must replace them with new positive ones like:
I am a beautiful person
I deserve love
I am love

repeat them everyday, write them, tell them… let them be part of your daily life.

The 3rd way to love yourself, which is my favourite, is called the
“What-would-someone-who-loves-them-self-do?” method.
Ask yourself this question several times a day. Try it, Let this be the first thing on your mind when you wake up tomorrow. What would be the answer to this question? Possibly: “they would probably go jogging.”, “they would drink a lot of water”.
During the day, just stop and ask yourself again: “What would self-lovers do now?”. a possible answer could be “they would probably read a book instead of watching TV.” Keep asking yourself and you will think of good answers, and then, little by little, you will see that it is better when you listen to that good voice inside you, and you will start to listen to it every day, every moment, and at some point you will become “the one who loves themself”.
