Most Important Component of Communication | Self Development Motivational Speech

In this video Jim Rohn talks about the importance of reading your audience during communication, whether it is a small daily talk or a big presentation. Mastery of this skill can improve your communication.
Here are the three ways to read your audience and hence, communicate more effectively:

1. Read what you see

Look for signals of appreciation or distress on the faces of audience. It can help you to change the course of your conversation.

2. Read what you hear

Listen to the response of people to your communication. If they are asking follow up questions it means they are taking interest in your topic.

3. Read what you feel

Read how your communication is affecting people’s posture and body language. If they are showing positive attributes it means the communication is making sense to them and they are not lost. If they are sitting with their chin tuck down and arms folded it probably means they are trying to repel whatever you’re saying
